Coming Through the Storm

Coming Through the Storm 1

The past few weeks haven't left much room for creativity.

Between paperwork, business, doctor appointments, and trying to keep life moving forward, it felt like I was spending more time filling out forms than filling notebooks. Some days it seemed like every email created two more things to do.

It's easy to lose yourself that way.

I kept telling myself I'd get back to the music. Back to the camera. Back to writing. But creativity doesn't always wait patiently in the corner while life sorts itself out.

Then I realized something.

Storms don't last forever.

Lately, I can feel the clouds beginning to lift. Not because everything is solved, but because I've decided it's time to make room for the things that keep me grounded. Music. Photography. Field recording. Long rides on the motorbike. Quiet afternoons with a notebook.

Healing isn't just doctors and medication. Sometimes healing is making something with your hands. Listening more closely. Taking the long way home.

The paperwork will always be there tomorrow.

Today, I'm choosing to create.
